In fact, all these studies confirm that where violence is one-sided, 70% of the perpetrators are women. Unfortunately, politics still does not recognize male victims on equal rights for females and deprives them of support. What's more, they consider men to be the sole perpetrators of domestic violence, which is obviously a lie. "In recent years researchers have approached populations without preconceptions as to the direction of violence. Large epidemiological studies have demonstrated that domestic violence is most commonly reciprocal and that when only one partner is violent there is an excess of violent women. Whitaker et al, Reference Whitaker, Haileyesus, Swahn and Saltzman2 in a study of 14 000 young US couples aged 18-28 years, found that 24% of relationships had some violence and half of those were reciprocally violent. In 70% of the non-reciprocally violent relationships women were the perpetrators of violence. Reciprocal violence appears to be particularly dangerous, leading to the highest rate of injury (31.4%). This may be because reciprocal violence is more likely to escalate. The International Dating Violence Study Reference Strauss3 found that among students at 31 universities worldwide male and female students had similar rates of physically assaulting a partner (25% of men and 28% of women at the median university). There was parity for perpetrating severe assaults (used a knife or gun, punched or hit partner with something that could hurt, choked partner, slammed partner against a wall, beat up partner, burned or scalded partner on purpose, kicked partner) − 9% of male and female students at the median university. For severe injury (passed out, required medical attention or broke a bone) the perpetration rate was higher for males (median rate 3.1% by men and 1.2% by women)". The reason for this, as the graph shows, is that men do not report the same percentage of cases as female victims do. Why, because male victims are not taken seriously by the relevant services because of ridiculing, ignoring or shaming them and other reasons. Data from UK: "Nearly half of male victims fail to tell anyone they are a victim of partner abuse (only 51% tell anyone). They are nearly three times less likely to tell anyone than a female victim (49% of men tell no one as opposed to 19% women). This has worsened since 2015/16 where the figures were 61% for men (88% women). What has changed is that men and women are less likely to tell someone they know personally, falling from 55% in 2014/15 for men to 43.7%. Over the same time period an increasing number of men were likely to tell the police (14.7% from 10%). There was a big drop in the numbers of women telling the police, from 26% in 2014-15 to 18.4% in 2017-18. It still means though that only 1 in 6 men (14.7%) will tell the police they are a victim. Only 10.7% of men will tell a health professional (20.8% women)". Rejected women sexually coerce more than twice as often as rejected men do, and they get angrier when they are rejected. You can find it all on page 653 of this study. Women reported stronger negative responses on several affect variables, suggesting that such refusals might have resulted in significant expectancy violations. Men reported more experience in handling refusals, consistent with traditional sexual scripts. Logistic regression analyses revealed that dominant men were more likely to coerce when angry or confused, whereas hostile women were more likely to coerce when feeling rejected. Feminism deliberately omit facts that clearly show what domestic violence really looks like, and omit the evidence that women are more likely than men to be perpetrators of domestic violence in all relationships. "However, it is a myth that domestic violence is all about men hurting women in heterosexual relationships. Domestic violence is also a ‘silent epidemic’ in lesbian relationships. As the studies of lesbian violence demonstrate, women are capable of being as violent as men in intimate relationships. Violence among same-sex couples is apparently two to three times more common than among married heterosexual couples. For example, about a decade ago the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey reported on the lifetime prevalence of rape, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner, focusing for the first time on victimisation by sexual orientation. It found a victimisation prevalence of 43.8 per cent for lesbians, making it the second most affected group after bisexual women (61.1 per cent), ahead of bisexual men (37.3 per cent), heterosexual women (35 per cent), heterosexual men (29 per cent) and homosexual men (26 per cent). A new study from Rutgers University has found a significant increase in domestic violence in lesbian relationships. The study is entitled, Sociodemographic characteristics, depressive symptoms, and increased frequency of intimate partner violence among LGBTQ people in the United States during the COVID-19 pandemic. It appears in the April 2023 (Volume 35, Issue 2) of the Journal of Gay & Lesbian Social Services" The Australian media and government also often frame child abuse as a ‘fathers’ problem’. However, one the greatest risk factors in child abuse and neglect, found by virtually every such investigations, is that of children living in a female single-parent household. Indeed, child abuse overwhelmingly occurs at households from which the biological father is absent. According to the US Department of Health and Human Services: ‘On average, fathers who live in a married household with their children are better able to create a family environment that is more conducive to the safety and necessary care of their children. Consequently, children who live with their biological father in a married household are significantly less likely to be physically abused, sexually abused, or neglected than children who do not live with their married biological parents.’ More in link www.spectator.com.au/2023/07/lesbian-domestic-violence-proves-its-not-just-a-male-problem/#men #women #equal #father #discriminationmen #discrimination #segregation #falseaccusations #domesticviolence #childsupport #equalparenting #parentalalienation #divorce #fraud #falseaccusationsrape #fatherless #childsharecustody #fahtermatter #law #brokenlaw #familylaw #court #depression, #depressionafterdivorce #Divorce #effectsofdivorce #health #masculinity #mentalhealth #suicidal #suicide #equalpay #equalwork #menrights #humanrights

Note how quickly the number of reports of domestic violence in the UK is growing, but the number of convicts is falling, which means that we already have an epidemic of false accusations. "Between 2016-17 and 2020-21 the total number of common assaults flagged as instances of domestic abuse increased by 71% from 99,134 to 170,013. In the same time period, the number of these common assaults that resulted in charges being brought fell by 23%". More in link www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-58910802

The data from the photo is presented from the test from the link below www.justice.gc.ca/eng/rp-pr/cj-jp/victim/rd14-rr14/p4.html"Evidence suggests that male victims of intimate partner violence (IPV) are less likely to seek help for their victimization than female victims. Studies exploring barriers to help seeking are relatively scarce in the United Kingdom (UK) and those that have been undertaken across Europe, United States, Canada, and Australia have tended to rely on small samples of help-seeking men who have self-identified as victims of IPV". Despite so much evidence and research, it is still denied that women are more likely to be perpetrators of domestic violence. "Results revealed that the reasons to stay of heterosexual men are similar to heterosexual women's and men who are in same sex relationships, highlighting: concern for their children, parenting and fear of losing contact; commitment to the relationship and psychological dependence. The results also emphasizes that there are specificities related to the male role in society that prevent men from leaving their relationships, as well as reasons that are not found in the literature, such as guilt, family pressure, fear of not being believed and threats of suicide by their partner. Finally, these results stressed that there is a clear need of an inclusive approach of IPV and a deconstruction of the myths and social stereotypes associated with the male ideals, both in society and with frontline professionals, in order to contribute to more appropriate intervention and political practices. Over the past few decades, it has been noted that there is a considerable number of male victims and that number is only a small representation of the phenomenon (e.g., Dziewa & Glowacz, 2021). In the United States of America, it's estimated that 1 in 10 men are victims of IPV, with 1 in 20 cases pointing to the use of severe violence (NCADV, 2020). Likewise, a study in Canada (Dim & Elabor-Idemudia, 2017) indicates that 10.1 % (879) of male participants were victims of psychological violence, the most common behaviors including jealousy (4.2 %), control of daily activities (4.6 %) and verbal abuse (2.7 %). Regarding European data, a study carried out in six European countries revealed that between 48.8 % (Portugal) and 71.8 % (Greece) of men are victims of IPV (Costa et al., 2015). In the UK, according to the ManKind Initiative (Brooks, 2018), 13.2 % (the equivalent of 2.2 million) of men reported having suffered IPV. The data suggest that of every three victims of IPV, one is a man; 0.5 % report having suffered persecution behaviors; 1.2 % suffered physical violence; 2.4 % suffered from sexual violence and 13 % of male victims suggest they suffered from three or more violent behaviors, with 1 % having suffered from more than fifty violent behaviors by their partner (Brooks, 2018). In Portugal, according to the 2022 Annual Internal Security Report (RASI), 27.6 % (11167) of the victims of domestic violence were men and 19.8 % (7963) of the perpetrators were women. Even so, all these data can be influenced by scientific evidence that refers to the absence of exposure of a considerable number of male victims (e.g., McCarrick et al., 2015)". "These findings support previous literature that discusses the range of DV that men experience within abusive relationships from both an international (e.g., Hines & Douglas, 2010; Hines et al., 2007) and U.K.-based (e.g., Barnes & Donovan, 2018; E. A. Bates, 2020; Wallace et al., 2019a) perspective, as well as the other studies that highlight the significant impact this has on them in terms of their health and well-being (e.g., see Bacchus et al., 2017; Coker et al., 2000, 2002; Hines & Douglas, 2016a). However, despite the range and seriousness of abuse, they described how many male callers struggled to recognize and accept their victimization; they felt shame and feared not being believed. This is again supported by previous research, as E. A. Bates (2019b) described how some men had been laughed at by friends and family when they had disclosed abuse, and had received further victimization from services where they had not been believed or in some cases had been blamed or accused of being perpetrators. Men have also been known to experience the impact of gender stereotypes within the Criminal Justice System (e.g., see Dutton & White, 2013; McCarrick et al., 2016), and indeed the mixed responses that they receive from these professionals are thought to contribute to what has been called a “bidirectional” lack of trust with police (Tsui, 2014). The participants in the current study described the isolation this left abused men experiencing: isolation from having had their social networks manipulated and reduced by their abusive partner, and also isolation at not feeling able to disclose. The lack of recognition demonstrated by many men regarding their abuse may be due to the difficulties surrounding accepting a status as a “victim,” and how this is incompatible with other important stereotypes relating to both domestic abuse and masculinity". Despite statistical data confirming that there are equal victims of violence, the propaganda that only women are the victims and men are the perpetrators still dominates. Such manipulation deprives male victims of support and leads to immunity from impunity for female perpetrators who bear no responsibility at all and, moreover, claim to be victims themselves. " New data released by the Northumbria police have revealed that an equal number of men and women lost their lives to domestic abuse in the North East in the last three years. A freedom of information investigation by SGM can reveal that the year 2020 saw one female and one male victim, followed by one male and one female victim in 2021. The numbers rose in 2022 with three male and two female victims, raising the figure to five men and five females (ten) overall in the area". The ideology propagated by women's organizations has nothing to do with facts, but only aims to demonize men and create conditions for the lack of accountability of female perpetrators. Below are only synthetic data showing the statistics of domestic violence: " Hundreds of research studies have been conducted around the world about the nature and causes of domestic violence: Male Victims: Summarizing 343 scholarly investigations conducted in 40 countries, professor Martin Fiebert explains, “women are as physically aggressive as men (or more) in their relationships with their spouses or opposite-sex partners.” (3) Same-Sex Couples: A review of research by Luca Rollè of the University of Torino reveals the lifetime prevalence intimate partner violence is 43.8% among lesbian women, compared to only 26% in homosexual men (4). Two-Way Violence: A recent analysis by Andreia Machado of Lusófona University in Portugal concludes, “bidirectional violence is the most common pattern of [domestic] violence.” (5) Another study found that injury is far more likely when the violence is mutual (28%), compared to unidirectional (12%). (6) Multiple Causes: Domestic violence is caused by a variety of factors such as alcohol abuse (7), mental health problems (😎, and marital break-down (9). But statements on feminist domestic violence websites veer dramatically from the science. The “Facts and Figures” page of UN Women (10), for example: Ignores the existence of male victims of abuse, Categorically denies the problem of abuse in lesbian relationships, Obfuscates the two-way nature of many incidents, and Refuses to disclose the multiple causes of intimate partner violence." A study published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology found that young adults who were exposed to threatening behavior from their mothers during childhood experience greater feelings of helplessness and lower self-efficacy, indirectly leading to increased anxiety. The research highlights the significant long-term impact of maternal threats on mental health. “ The analysis indicated that only maternal, not paternal, threatening behaviors were connected with these factors as proposed in the model. “Results indicated that greater childhood exposure to maternal threatening behaviors was indirectly associated with anxiety symptom severity through greater perceived helplessness and poorer self‐efficacy,” the study authors wrote. “In contrast, childhood exposure to paternal threatening behaviors was neither directly nor indirectly associated with anxiety severity. These findings underscore the long‐lasting effects of childhood experiences on emerging adults’ anxiety symptoms, as well as perceived stress as a potentially useful treatment target for emerging adults who struggle with anxiety.” More in link www.psypost.org/2023/11/research-reveals-connection-between-parental-threatening-behaviors-and-future-mental-health-issues-21447
