Hey, for some reason Facebook is bloking my reply to your comment on the Daddy of Feminism post so I am sending it directly to you instead. Thank you
!
Thank you for the questions. I am just a regular guy but I will try to answer your question to the best of my abilities...
Yes, the current goverment here is run by women and is quite feminist. Funnily enough, just recently there was a bit of scandal because one Member of Parlament from the Green Party was wearing this t-shirt /photo/1 during a plenary session and the Women of the Green Party were promoting the sale of that t-shirt!
About child share... I do not have my own children but as far as I know, technically the share should be 50-50 between the mother and father in case of divorce or breakup. However, in practice, it is not so... One article that I found wrote that about 87% of case that end up in court are ruled in mothers favour. Also, here is one article Google translated from YLE, the Finnish National Broadcasting Company translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fi&u=https://yle.fi/aihe/artikkeli/2015/07/31/nain-selvisin-lapseni-vieraannuttamisesta-isat-kertovat&prev=search&pto=aue
About gender equality... If you want to read feminist propaganda, you should check this site out thl.fi/en/web/gender-equality Just know that whole deparment is basically run by feminists so take all those articles with a grain of salt! There several issues that mainly affect men, however the public discourse focuses mainly on women's issues.
About the domestic violence... I have no personal knowledge on the specifics, however, the information I can find is the mainly geared towards women. The info is either gender-neutral or women only, I cannot find any govermental advice or info for men facing domestic violence... For example, stm.fi/en/combating-domestic-violence
Hope my answers are at least somewhat helpful! Have a nice day 🙂
!
It's great you're from Finland. We know you have a completely feminist government. We have questions for you. Is child share custody the default in Finland? Does the state support everyone equally, regardless of gender? How are female victims of domestic violence treated by the state?
