An important message from the International Criminal Court for all those who have concerns about gender-based violence to report from around the world about problems in their countries with regard to the treatment of fathers in family courts, arental alienation, victims of male suicide as a result of family courts, regarding the exclusion of male victims of domestic violence and male victims of rape made by women and different treatment of men in relation to women. It is important that this information is passed on and that as many people as possible do it, so that problems with discrimination and unfair treatment of men finally become recognized, because if we do not do it again, only female victims will be considered. Share this information with male groups and forward the link. "The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Mr Karim A.A. Khan QC is pleased to announce a new policy initiative to advance accountability for the crime against humanity of persecution on the grounds of gender under the Rome Statute. This policy initiative, which will culminate in a comprehensive policy paper, will aim to describe and guide his Office in ensuring a systematic approach to dealing with such serious crimes from the outset of the preliminary examination process to investigations and prosecutions. Complementing and building on the 2014 Policy Paper on Sexual and Gender-Based Crimes, this new policy initiative will help to further promote accountability, transparency and predictability in the work of the Office in this crucial area. The policy will be developed on the basis of the Rome Statute and other regulatory instruments of the Court, as well as applicable treaties, and the principles and rules of international law. It will also draw on the jurisprudence of the Court and other relevant jurisdictions. Through this announcement, the Prosecutor invites comments early in the development of this policy initiative, calling for input on, inter alia, the nature, scope and the different elements and grounds the policy ought to include, cover and address. In highlighting the importance of the policy and stakeholder consultation, Prosecutor Khan stated: "gender persecution as a crime against humanity takes many forms, and is indeed linked to other crimes under the Rome Statute. I am firmly committed to ensuring that my Office systematically addresses sexual and gender-based crimes, and takes a deeper and focused approach to investigating and prosecuting gender persecution. This latest policy paper initiative is another commitment to this necessary objective." Professor Lisa Davis, Special Adviser to the Prosecutor on Gender Persecution will be assisting the Prosecutor and the Office in developing this policy. "Sexual and gender-based crimes are among the gravest under the Rome Statute. As mentioned by the Prosecutor, holding such crimes that meet the threshold for persecution accountable is a key priority for the Office. This policy will contribute to furthering effective investigation of gender persecution, and enhancing access to justice for victims of these crimes", stated Professor Davis. In this first round of external consultations, the Office welcomes and encourages comments on the substance of the policy initiative/paper early in the drafting process and prior to the first draft being produced and circulated for further input. The Prosecutor is of the view that external consultations on its policies and working methods are important for maintaining and furthering transparency and predictability, and generating the most comprehensive policies. Comments will therefore be sought during the drafting process: first before the draft has been formulated, and a second round to solicit more specific and focused feedback. Comments can be sent to OTP.Policies@icc-cpi.int by Friday, 18 March 2022, midnight, CET. All input received by the deadline will be carefully considered in the internal review and revision process. The Office is grateful for the interest and support of the Rome Statute community for its activities and initiatives. www.icc-cpi.int/Pages/item.aspx?name=pr1637&fbclid=IwAR1CAdtwcg8YMMyQOwcJhHdjMw-ndAKvp1rJKmTIGKoohUEykCKPeliEW-I#men #women #equal #father #discriminationmen #discrimination #segregation #falseaccusations #domesticviolence #childsupport #equalparenting #parentalalienation #divorce #fraud #falseaccusationsrape #fatherless #childsharecustody #fahtermatter #law #brokenlaw #familylaw #court #depression, #depressionafterdivorce #Divorce #effectsofdivorce #health #masculinity #mentalhealth #suicidal #suicide #equalpay #equalwork #menrights #humanrights

I’ve made a petition – will you sign it? Click this link to sign the petition: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/610882/sponsors/new?token=onVAe2POOR5q9eBOIeBrMy petition: The Gateway (CHILD BENEFITS) to be paid equally to both parents should they split. (CHILD BENEFIT) is currently only paid to one parent (usually the mother) by HMRC. This means a child is missing out on access to multiple decent homes or suitable space and access to support that usually comes with the gateway support of (CHILD BENEFIT) also there is usually no support for other parent (usually the father) yet quite often forced to pay chid maintenance support to the parent (usually the mother) who currently gets all the gateway benefits of (CHILD BENEFIT) along with child tax credit or top up on universal credit or similar. So I’m asking to Make the gateway (CHILD BENEFITS) accessible for all as part of equality rights for both parent in being to support the child between 2 homes, make sure that a child has suitable safe space and access to support or benefits which would come with as part of the gateway from child benefits. Furniture, clothing equipment, food, travel etc This will cause less friction between families and less suicide rates of the parent (often the father) who misses out on support for the child due the current outdated benefit feeling like a failure because they can’t access same support for their child. IF YOU CARE ABOUT CHILDREN SIGN THIS PETITION SO THEY CAN HAVE A DECENT UPBRINGING AND PLACE TO LIVE WITH BOTH PARENTS AFTER A SPLIT. (Please share)

Signatures are being collected to open a UNMen that will deal with global men's problems. Anyone who believes that men should also have such an organization should cast their vote. Anyone who believes that men are currently exploited and deprived of equal human rights, and the privileging of women on many social issues, should cast their vote. Details below action goal: "At 1,000 signatures, this petition is more likely to be featured in recommendations!! Sally-Anne Burris started this petition to Council of the European Union and 3 others it is normal for most people at some point in their life to consider not living. Suicide is often thought about as a choice because of a feeling of hopelessness, isolation, fear, emotional and mental trauma, sometimes to a level that is overwhelming. There is a United Nations Women (UN Women) this is a good thing it means that women and girls have a representative organisation in every single country and within the central six committees of the United Nations. The work they have done for the last 11 years has meant that every single piece of legislation in every country works to protect women and girls. Men and boys do not have a UN Men, as a result of this they have no body within governance who advocate specifically for them. Which means that legislation does not include them in the most vulnerable situations they will ever experience in their lives. Examples of this are; · Domestic abuse - there are no services for men and their children, please don’t allow yourself to underestimate how many men experienced domestic abuse, there is the building consensus of opinion through different agencies that believed this is now 50-50. · Family court - we know this is a major area that affect men who will then consider ending their life. What we know is that the surrounding services for example, police, domestic abuse services, children’s protective services, NGOs all having risk management processes in place that identify the needs of women and her children. We know that assessments, support and other services are not available for men making this issue and major contributor in the rates of suicide for men. · Rape and sexual abuse - Men and boys experience rape from male and female perpetrators. Because of the UN women, society refuses to accept female perpetrators, in relation to boys who are sexually abused by women, professionals are not trained or predispositioned to believe the woman is capable of this. · Homelessness - the global average of homelessness for men and boys is between 80 and 90%. There are many reasons why this is the case. Most men and boys become homeless because of physical, mental, sexual or emotional abuse. In all the legislation women and children are made the responsibility of the state, the way in which governments protect them is not the same for men. · There are many areas where men and boys become isolated from any support the reason for this is even though human rights and legislation in every country says they should be included, they are not. · Every country apart from four has the highest rate of suicide for men and boys the lowest is two out of three the highest is almost 6/7. We need a UN men, this is the only way that men are able to have a voice, the only way research into their needs can be done, it is the only way that we can prevent these awful suicides". It proves very badly that an organization should be neutral by nature, and what's more, it should use expert knowledge and statistics, and not, as in the following justification, based on the opinions of the domestic violence industry and women's organizations. In most countries in the world, statistics confirm that the most frequent use of violence by mothers is against their own children, while such an organization repeats stereotypes that are untrue. "The tendency to dismiss the history of domestic violence and abuse in custody cases extends to cases where mothers or children have brought forward credible allegations of child physical or sexual abuse. In several countries, family courts tend to judge such allegations as deliberate efforts by the mothers to manipulate their child and pull them away from their father. This supposed effort by a parent alleging abuse is often termed “parental alienation.” The term generally refers to the presumption that a child’s fear or rejection of one parent, typically the noncustodial parent, stems from the malevolent influence of the preferred, typically the custodial parent. Although these concepts lack a universal clinical or scientific definition, emerging patterns across various jurisdictions of the world indicate courts worldwide are using the concept of “parental alienation” or similar concepts explicitly or are allowing for its instrumentalization. The vast majority of those accused of ‘alienating’ their child while alleging abuse are women. Consequently, many women victims of violence and abuse face double victimization as they are punished for alleging abuse, including by losing custody or at times being imprisoned. Children who are victims of violence and abuse by a parent (in many cases the father) often continue to be subjected to such violence and abuse, against themselves and/or the other parent (in most cases the mother) post-separation, through imposed contact with the abusive parent. These dynamics often allow parents to be intimidated, coerced or forced by their abusive ex-partners and pressured by the courts to withdraw their allegations of abuse or to agree to a specific custody arrangement. In many instances, when given the risk of losing contact with their children and the high impunity the violence committed by their partner, women end up withdrawing their allegations or not reporting at all. According to experts, in many cases, the perpetrators of violence have deliberately inflicted violence on their children as a continuation of the violence inflicted on their partner who is the parent of their children and therefore a continuation of the attempt and process of controlling the target (i.e. the mother)". Everyone should send them their opinion and dataset that the OHCHR is wrong in its judgment based on a misunderstanding of the problem and without taking into account the scientific data on domestic violence. Nine countries have compulsory military conscription for both men and women. But in three of these countries — Chad, Eritrea, and Israel — men are required to serve for more time than women. Intimate Partner Violence and Abuse: Far fewer services are available for male victims of domestic violence, even though men are equally likely to be abuse victims. False allegations of abuse and paternity fraud Children: 97 million boys, compared to 63 million girls, are subjected to child labor. 90% of sextortion victims are males. Legal System: Extreme court biases in awards of child custody. As a result, fathers represent only 15.7% of all single parent households (Source: UN Women, page 63) Requiring male victims of statutory rape to pay child support. More severe treatment of men at every step of the criminal-legal process, including the treatment of persons accused of sex offenses. Reproductive Rights: Upon becoming pregnant, a woman can choose to have the baby, get an abortion, or put the baby up for adoption. Men have none of these reproductive rights. Extreme Weather: Males account for 79% of all deaths from lightning. Men are 2-3 times more likely to die from extreme natural heat. Males are more likely to die from excessive cold. Men are more likely than women to die during famine. Media Portrayals: Reporting and commentary about men: 69% unfavorable, 12% favorable, and 19% neutral or balanced."
