The latest data from the USA confirm that women there receive lighter sentences than men, and what is more, they are much more likely to receive suspended sentences. The question is how many percent of women are not convicted of the same crimes that men are imprisoned for. Women are treated above the law and do not have the same responsibility as men. "Across all analyses, females received sentences that were shorter, on average, than males. When examining all sentences imposed, females received sentences 29.2 percent shorter than males. Females of all races were 39.6 percent more likely to receive a probation sentence than males. When examining only sentences of incarceration, females received lengths of incarceration 11.3 percent shorter than males." The myth that feminism is for gender equality is a recurring one in this article. Feminism has never been and is not for equality between men and women, but for the domination of women over men, which is confirmed by the common slogans of "empowering women". Does empowerment mean equality? Absolutely not, it is the denial of equality, which confirms that women are not as responsible as men. Moreover, women often go unpunished for crimes for which men go to prison. Therefore, the claim that men are against equality is a lie. Men are against their discrimination and women's lack of responsibility in all areas of life. "Certainly there is some evidence from recent surveys that young men are more lukewarm about feminism, compared to both their female peers and older men. In a 2023 Equimundo survey, for example, only half of men aged 18-23 agreed with the statement, “Feminism has made America a better place”, lower than the share of men in older age groups (up to the age of 45). This survey and others also include a range of questions about whether men or women have it harder today, which gender faces more discrimination, whether feminism and/or the move for women’s rights has “gone too far”, and so on." And we constantly hear how women are wronged, oppressed, and yet they quietly and effortlessly take over men's wealth. "Of course, women stand to gain not just through the death of their wealthy partners, but also as a result of divorcing them. JB Were looked at the approximately 10,000 High Net Worth couples who divide their assets each year and estimated that would result in a $30 billion asset pool converting to roughly $15 billion in the hands of the women. Not bad, eh? In May 2023, Andrew (Twiggy) Forrest was the second richest person in Australia. Or so it seemed. But any man who has been through the family law system will tell you that a man’s grip on his assets is tenuous at best. After Twiggy and his wife split and the family law system had done its thing, he tumbled down the Rich List, dropping to Number 10 and he was overtaken by a new entrant - his wife, who entered at Number 8. Nicola Forrest entered the Rich List for the first time ranked eighth overall, becoming Australia’s third-richest woman, with a $14.6 billion fortune. Nice work if you can get it….. The property issue is interesting because younger women are less likely to own property than men but in middle age female ownership takes over. CoreLogic Head of Research Eliza Owen speculates, “This suggests women may be empowered to buy property later in life.” Yes, well, it just so happens that this empowerment happens around ages 25-45 when divorce is most common. Reminds me of the joke about “How many divorced men does it take to change a light bulb?” No one knows, because they are homeless." More in link bettinaarndt.substack.com/p/women-and-wealth
